The Alki neighborhood is, perhaps, Seattle’s most unique. Almost like a little slice of California (at least on the warmer days) Alki has one the Northwest’s few sandy beaches. The Alki Beach community stretches out along this beach, with sand and breathtaking views on one side, and cute, funky little shops and restaurants on the other. Home to one of the most iconic views of the downtown Seattle skyline, Alki Beach and the surrounding neighborhood occupy the northernmost part of the peninsula known broadly as West Seattle. Few places on Earth have better views, given the Puget Sound, islands, and Olympic mountains to the west, and the Seattle skyline and Cascade Mountains visible to the East. The median home value is about $750k.
